Description
The terrain is located in the hills of the Verona area, between 100 and 350 meters above sea level. It is predominantly clayey and occasionally limestone. The vineyards in production are between 20 and 25 years old, with a density of 2,700 vines per hectare.
The grapes are dried for 60 days to achieve remarkable concentration. They are destemmed and gently pressed. Maceration lasts for 10 days, with pump-overs three times a day. The wine ages in wood for a minimum of 2 years, part in large Slavonian oak barrels and the other part in French oak barrels of 225 liters worked at different toasting levels.
